Abstract Data were obtained from random broiler (240) and layer cycles (40) were used in this investigation. They were classified according to season (for broilers), locality, housing system, year and breed. The obtained data include production resources, costs and returns, with reference to the veterinary management. The production resources were found to have a significant effect on collective and partial efficiency measures, and the profitability of poultry farms. Moreover, the veterinary management plays an important rule in controlling poultry diseases and achieving high profits. |
