Abstract
Portal hypertension one of the most complication of chronic liver diseaswe . it is manifested clinically by asicites, splenonegaly, variceal bleeding or portosystemic encephalopathy. Variceal bleeding is the most common cuse of morbidity and mortality in portal hypertensive patients.
Ascites is the most common complication of patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension.
