Abstract
Results of narcotic drugs , were negative for all control and blank groups. Hair samples taken at the 2nd ,5th days were negative. Samples taken at the 7th . day up to 3 months either ante or postmortem were positive. Comparative study between hair and nail of animals, the drugs were found more in hair than in nail of animals. In conclusion: there are wide scale of drugs either narcotics or antipsychotics appear in hairs and nails. They increase with the period of administration and with increase the dose of the drug. By segmental hair analysis , it is found that every part of the hair give idea about drug taken at the same period in which this part grows.
