Abstract

The present investigation was carried out on total number of 100 males camels belonged to different localities in “Marsa Matruh” Governorate at different ages. The selected camel put under physical examination were classified according to their health condition into:
1. - (25) apparently clinical healthy camels which used as control groups after complete proved their healthy status by both clinical and laboratory methods of examination.
The general condition and of health of camel is recognized by the temperature, pulse and respiration rates. They are parameters which can be measured in the camel and are indication of health or disease. Signs of pain, discomfort or distress should be noted as should be the presence of abnormal discharges.
The mucous membranes have some value in clinical examinations and changes in urine output or faccal consistency are often significant. The two most commonly encountered diseases of camels in many countries are Tryponosomiasis and sarcoptic mange, and recent texts should be consulted to enable the clinician to diagnose or exclude these diseases.
2- (40) males camels suffered from mange (mites)
