Abstract

One hundred and twenty Hubbard chicks one day old were divided into 6 equal groups. All chicks were vaccinated against Newcastle disease at 7 and 15 days and Gumboro disease at 21 days.
Group (1): Chickens fed on a ration contaminated with 5 ppm AF.I kg ration.
Group (H): Chickens fed on a ration supplemented with 5gm (SB)/kg ration.
Group (Ill): Chickens fed on ration supplemented with 5 ppm AF and 5gm (SB)/kg ration. Group (IV): Chickens fed on a ration supplemented with 600 mg charcoal Ikg ration. Group (V): Chickens fed on ration supplemented with 5 ppm AF and 600 mg charcoal Ikg ration. Group (VI): (Control) chickens fed on a ration free from AF or
any antimycotic materials. Every week the body weight of chickens were recorded and after 1 S\ 2nd, 3rd and 4th week. Five chicks from each group were sacrificed, and their organs were taken and preserved in 10% formalin for
histopathological examination. Clinical signs were detected on experimentally intoxicated chickens, the AF treated group showed depression and untheriftness clinical symptoms. Marked decrease in body weight. No clear abnormal clinical signs were observed on other
