Abstract
the combustion characteristics of Kerosene diffusion flame using different gaseous fuel such as N.G. and LPG in combustion air. The temperature distribution, flame shape and exhaust species concentrations at exhaust pipe arc measured. The studied parameters arc: the swirl number, the air to fuel mass ratio, the input fuel thermal load and the additions percentages of both N.G. and LPG. An experimental test rig was designed to investigate the all above parameters. Increasing N.G. percentages the flame length decreases more than that when using the LPG. hic exhaust NO and NOx concentrations decrease by increasing the NG. or LPG percentages.
