المستخلص There has been a continuous need for generating more electrical energy to face the successive demand increase over the years. This renders the present increase in number and size of generating units in the power systems. Due to increasing of units size and complexity of these systems, they operate with lower stability margin. However, the physical limitation on conventional generating design renders a poor performance of these generators when subjected to disturbances. The objectives of this thesis are: 1- Stabilization of superconducting generator (SCG) as agood alternative to replace conventional 2- Design a suitable control systems for the new machine to enchance its performance as well as the performance of he whole system. |
